What can I expect to see if I go to Visual Impact?

All key vendors and suppliers into the Graphic Arts Industry in Australia will have stands there. It’s a who’s who of the graphic arts space and there will be hundreds (if not thousands!) of different applications on show.

HP

Expect to see:

  • Large format printers – up to 1.6m wide
  • Grand format printers – up to 5m wide
  • Finishing equipment
  • Printing onto unusual substrates, such as:
    • Fabric
    • Rigid materials (EG – doors)
  • Engraving and routing
  • And more

How will I know what is useful to me at the show?

With the number of exhibitors that will be there, it might be difficult to:

  • Know what is most relevant for your business today and in the future.
  • Who you need to speak to at the stand.
  • Ensuring that the right person is available while you are at the show.

Alloys will have staff at the show for all three days. If you are planning on attending, then feel free to contact our Large Format Specialist, Vish, prior to the start of the event.

Vish will be more than happy to discuss your requirements for the show and offer suggestions on companies or people you may want to target at the show.

Vish can also book you in with key personnel at a number of the stands. From experience, this is the safest way of ensuring you speak to all the right people at the show while you are there and maximise the number of meaningful conversations you have.

Who is Vish?

Vish joined Alloys in May 2021 to head up our large format offering that comprises of the HP DesignJet and Pagewide ranges as well as the full range of Canon imagePROGRAF solutions. He has over 20 years’ experience with these products and has built an extensive network in Australia over the last 12 years in this space.

Consider him YOUR large format specialist.

How Visual Impact Came About?

In the early 1990s, the Visual Industries Suppliers Association, owners of Visual Impact, began organising these successful exhibitions, and to this day continue to host the largest trade show for the Visual Graphics Industries.

As of 1st July 2015, Visual Connections Australia Ltd was formed through the merger of GAMAA, the Graphic Arts Merchants Association of Australia and Visual Industries Suppliers Association. Visual Connections is now the premier supplier’s association for the print, graphics and signage industries in Australia.

As a result of the merger, Visual Connections now has the largest trade show portfolio in the industry with PrintEx, PacPrint and Visual Impact Expos coming under its banner.
