Since Alloys took on the HP DesignJet series, we’ve been lucky enough to offer you, our partners, incredible deals across the range. Whether you’re selling to a tradie that needs some quick A2 sized prints or a large graphic arts production house, we’ve been able to negotiate some great discounts that offer you and your customer fantastic value for money.
However, did you know, that HP also run a trade-in program for their DesignJet range as well? These can’t be used in conjunction with the promotions, however, if your customer needs an old printer picked up, then HP can arrange this and offer a cash back value for the old device. In some instances, if the old machine is a HP DesignJet printer, then the customer has the option to keep their old machine alongside their new purchase.
It's a simple three stage process:
The old printer, when collected, is recycled, as much as possible. With the extreme weather patterns we’ve experienced in Australia over the last few years, every little bit we can do to reduce wastage helps ensure we reduce our impact on these old devices going into landfill. Many companies now have a Sustainability charter for all new IT purchases and providing a quote that covers the ethical disposal of old equipment might help your customer decide to buy through you rather than your competitor.
Full details of the HP Trade-In Trade-Up Program can be found here

It’s the same link to get a quote for the cash back on the old device. The best part is, if you have all your customer’s details, then you can request a quote on their behalf and incorporate that as part of your proposal to them. Making it even easy for them to purchase through you!!
To find out more, please feel free to contact your Alloys Account Manager and they’ll be more than happy to discuss this program with you.
