Unlike many other large format printers, the roll holder is shaftless making it easy to install the roll paper and lock the roll holders on two sides. Businesses in hospitality and retail regularly need to produce posters and menus. The TC-20 includes a free web application called 'PosterArtist2' that provides a broad selection of templates for users to generate materials to meet their needs. Like the higher-end models in the imagePROGRAF series, it comes with free software, Direct Print Plus, allowing users to check the layout of multiple files in different file formats, such as PDF, JPEG and TIFF. By selecting the paper source within Direct Print Plus or an alternative printer driver, users can switch between roll paper and cut sheet and easily print output in a variety of sizes including A4, A3 and up to A1+. The standard built-in Auto Sheet Feeder (ASF) can also continuously print A3 or A4 size paper.
Easy ink refill installation
The imagePROGRAF TC-20 is equipped with high capacity 70ml ink bottles for all four colours (BK/C/M/Y) that reduces refilling frequency.
The ink bottles are designed to prevent ink refilling errors. Each colour has a different shaped container, making it easier to insert new ink. Simply inserting them into the tank inlet will start the injection, and once a predetermined level is reached, the injection will automatically stop. Ink spills are also prevented by a mechanism, allowing users to replace ink without incident.
