Canon’s Design Software: PosterArtist update

Canon has launched PosterArtist v1.1, an updated web-based design software that supports the creation of posters, banners, and signage. The latest version of PosterArtist offers a range of new features, including two-sided and variable printing, and new templates that cater to a wide variety of applications. The software is designed to enable users to easily create professional-level designs for printing on selected Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE DX, imageRUNNER, and imagePRESS Series multifunction printers for office use. Additionally, the software is compatible with selected imageCLASS laser printers for small business use, imagePROGRAF large-format printers, and PIXMA home printers. These features make PosterArtist v1.1 an ideal tool for businesses of all sizes looking to create high-quality marketing materials with ease.

Unlock Diversity in Design with Two-Sided and Variable Printing

The latest version of PosterArtist, version 1.1, empowers users to design flyers for retail stores, menus for restaurants, and a range of other applications. With the software's variable printing function, users can easily print certificates and other similar applications by importing text data from an Excel file and integrating it into the design. The software also supports two-sided printing and variable printing, allowing users to create two-sided applications that feature personalized details, such as the customer's name and appointment time.

Yoshinori Moritaki, General Manager Product Marketing at Canon Australia comments, “The visual appeal and tactile nature of a printed application has the power to cut through digital noise and help brands stand out in an age of screen fatigue. With an array of new templates and an easy-to-use interface, the new version 1.1 of PosterArtist will help our customers to create exciting double-sided, variable designs for both business and personal use.”

Refresh Your Designs with New Templates for Businesses and Individuals

Canon has recently included a set of fresh templates for a variety of applications, such as flyers, menus, calendars, and photo collages, which complement the already existing collection of poster designs. The latest templates come with complete front-and-back design options, allowing users to effortlessly create a seamless two-sided design. Moreover, Canon has also introduced a range of clip art, including stamps like "Big Sale" and "Limited Time Offer," and illustrations with a handwritten style to enhance the visual appeal of the designs.

With this version, PosterArtist now supports "Auto Photo Fix," a feature that simplifies the design process by enabling users to modify both text and images while adjusting photo colour tone and brightness. This functionality ensures that users can easily create original and high-quality designs.
